Jean Lenert (* in Metz ) is a French violinist .

biography

As one of the first violinists to join the Orchester de Paris , Jean Lenert became an instructor with the title of CA 1st degree. He was responsible for the Certificat d'Aptitude (CA) in the ministry. He has taught at the Conservatoire Supérieur, the Schola Cantorum and the CNSM de Paris as well as at the Consertoire de Lyon. He was a member of the Camerata de France before he was appointed chief conductor of the Orchester français des jeunes . Lenert gave concerts and master classes in France and other countries such as China, Japan, Finland, Russia. He was a member of the jury of numerous major international competitions and was awarded the Chevalier de l'ordre national du mérite in 2002.

Lenert wrote the three-volume L'ABC du jeune violoniste . He participated in 10 ans avec le violon , published by Cité de la Musique. The book contains an annotated list of pieces for violin suitable for a violinist's first ten years of training.
