Jeanneke Pis

Jeanneke Pis is a fountain figure in Brussels depicting a girl urinating while crouching. It is the female counterpart to the more well-known Manneken Pis from 1619 , who also urinates .

The bronze statue is about 50 centimeters high and is located in the Impasse de la Fidelité, a small cul-de-sac near the Rue des Bouchers. The sculpture, erected in 1985 by Denis-Adrien Debouvrie without any historical background and inaugurated in 1987, stands in a small barred niche opposite the Délirium Café .
