Jeannie Drake, Baroness Drake

Jeannie Drake, Baroness Drake CBE (born January 16, 1948 ) is a British trade unionist and life peeress .

She was deputy general secretary of the Communication Workers Union and in 2005 president of the union convention. She works for the Equality and Human Rights Commission .

On June 20, 2010, she was raised as Baroness Drake , of Sheen in the County of Surrey, to a Life Peeress and has since sat for the Labor Party in the House of Lords .
