Jens Henrik Jensen

Jens Henrik Jensen (born May 6, 1963 in Søvind near Horsens ) is a Danish journalist and crime author. Four books in his "OXEN series" appeared in German translation from 2018.

Life

Jensen worked for 25 years as a journalist in various functions for the daily newspaper JydskeVestkysten in Esbjerg and also wrote detective novels. His debut novel "Wienerringen" was published in 1997. Since 2015 he has devoted himself entirely to writing books and in 2017 won the Danish Crime Award . He had the greatest success with the "Danehof Trilogy" about the war veteran Niels Oxen and the one-legged agent of the Danish security service Margrethe Franck. The trilogy was published as a translation in 14 countries, and Jensen sold the film rights to SF Studios in Copenhagen .

Jensen lives in Horsens with his wife and two sons.
