Jens Katemann

Jens Katemann (born September 16, 1974 ) is a German business and motor journalist. From 2012 to March 2017 he was editor-in-chief of auto motor und sport together with Ralph Alex . He has been Head of Communications at ŠKODA AUTO since April 1, 2017.

After studying to be a teacher (social sciences, sport) and passing the 1st state examination at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster , Katemann completed an internship at the Georg von Holtzbrinck School of the Handelsblatt publishing group from 2001 to 2003. He then worked as an editor at auto motor und sport (2003 to 2006), where he was promoted to head of “Magazin & Service” and in 2009 became editor-in-chief of the magazine AUTOStraßenverkehr .
