Jens Peter Schjødt

Jens Peter Schjødt (* 1952 in Aarhus ) is a Danish religious scholar and religious historian . He is Professor of Nordic History of Religion at the Institute for General Religious Studies, Arabic and Islamic Studies at Aarhus University .

Schjødt's research and teaching focus is the pre-Christian, pagan North Germanic religion , or Germanic religion , phenomenology and comparative religious studies of the Indo-European religions .
