Yermek Marshyqpaev

Jermek Boranbajuly Marschyqpajew ( Kazakh Ермек Боранбайұлы Маржықпаев , Russian Ермек Боранбаевич Маржикпаев / Jermek Boranbajewitsch Marschikpajew * 29. August 1969 in Tselinograd , Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh politician . He has been governor of the Aqmola region since March 2019 .

Life

Yermek Marschyqpaev was born in Zelinograd in 1969 . He graduated from the Zelinograd Pedagogical Institute in 1994 . In 2001 another degree followed at the Turan University in Almaty and in 2009 a degree at the State University of Kökschetau.

He began his professional career in 1991 as a sports teacher and boxing trainer at secondary school No. 29 in Zelinograd. From 1993 to 1994 he worked as a history teacher at High School No. 7 in Borovoye village in what is now Burabai County in the Aqmola region . From November 1994 to June 1995 he was director of Schonai and from June 1995 he was general director of the Bereke-Burabai company.

From 2007 to 2009 Marshyqpaev was a member of the Aqmola regional administration. In August 2008 he became Äkim of Arshaly County in the Aqmola area and from April 2012 to September 2013 he was Äkim head of Serendi County. Then he was Deputy Äkim (Governor) of the Aqmola area until June 2014. Since January 6th, 2015 he was Äkim of the city of Kökschetau . He succeeded Shomart Nurghaliev , who had died two months earlier.

On March 19, 2019, he was appointed Äkim (governor) of the Aqmola region.
