Jeroen Tel
Jeroen Godfried Tel (born May 19, 1972 in Amsterdam ), also WAVE , is a Dutch composer. He was best known for playing video game music for the Commodore 64 in the late 1980s and early 1990s . His most famous works can be heard in computer games such as Combat Crazy , Cybernoid , Cybernoid II , Dan Dare 3 , Eliminator , Hawkeye , Myth: History in the Making , Nighthunter , Robocop 3 , Rubicon and Supremacy .
Maniacs of Noise
Together with Charles Deenen, whom Tel met at a computer meeting in Venlo , Tel founded the band "Maniacs of Noise", which has been composing and developing music and sound effects for video games since 1987 . In addition to video game music, Tel also composed tracker modules for the demo scene .
Tel Me More
In the summer of 2015, Tel started a crowdfouding project on Indiegogo to produce an album with the most famous of his pieces of music. He has raised just under $ 27,500 so far (2019).
