Yevgeny Vladimirovich Sidichin

Yevgeny Vladimirovich Sidichin ( Russian Евгений Владимирович Сидихин ; born October 2, 1964 in Leningrad ) is a Russian actor. In 1999 he was nominated in the category Best Actor for the Russian Film Prize Nika for his portrayal in the film Barak (German: Die Baracke ).

Life

Sidichin grew up in Leningrad. Since the 4th grade he trained martial arts and boxing. Later he was to become the Leningrad master four times. After completing school education, he was accepted at the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography, but was drafted into military service in the first year of his studies . He completed his military service in Turkmenistan and in the military reconnaissance in Afghanistan . After this time he resumed his training at the Leningrad Institute and successfully completed it in 1989. He then worked at the Lensovet Theater in his hometown and at the Bolshoi Theater . Sidichin was briefly seen on the NTW channel as a talk show host . In 1991 he started his career as a film actor.

Outside his home country he became known, among other things, for the role of the Russian officer Andrej Rybkin in the 2008 movie Anonyma - Eine Frau in Berlin .
