Jewish Voice for Peace

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) (German: Jewish Voice for Peace , Hebrew: קול יהודי לשלום לשלום, Kol Yehudi la-Shalom) is a left-wing American activist organization that deals with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict .

In her mission statement she describes herself as “a diverse and democratic community of activists inspired by the Jewish tradition of working together for peace, social justice and human rights in order to support the aspirations of Israelis and Palestinians for security and self-determination” and says it "seeks an end to the Israeli occupation of the West Bank , Gaza and East Jerusalem ".

Other Jewish groups, including the Anti-Defamation League , criticize the fact that they stir up the Jewish opposition to Israel and work to undermine public support for Israel.
