Jiří Bubeníček
Jiří Bubeníček (born October 7, 1974 in Lubin ) is a Czech ballet dancer and choreographer .
Jiří Bubeníček comes from a family of artists. He was born in Poland but is Czech. He received his education at the Conservatory for Dance and Music in Prague. The dancer joined John Neumeier's Hamburg Ballet in 1993 , where he was promoted to Principal Soloist in 1997. From 2006 to 2015 he was engaged at the Semperoper Dresden. In 2013 he was awarded the Semperoper's Mary Wigman Prize.
Together with his twin brother Otto , he founded Les Ballets Bubeníček .
