Jia Xu

Jia Xu ( Chinese  賈 詡  /  贾 诩 , Pinyin Jiǎ Xǔ ) (* 147 ; † 224 ) was an advisor to the Wei Dynasty at the time of the Three Kingdoms in ancient China.

After the death of Dong Zhuo , whom he served, he became Li Ju's counselor. When he realized his situation was hopeless, he left him and went to Zhang Xiu , who, thanks to his advice , was able to repel some attacks by the warlord Cao Cao . Finally, Jia Xu recommended that he submit to Cao Cao. After that, Jia Xu became an advisor to Cao Cao and later to his son Cao Pi .
