Jiang Jianqing , ( Chinese : 姜建清; pinyin: Jiāng Jiànqīng; born February 1, 1953 ) is a Chinese bank manager and, since 2005, Chairman of the Board of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), the largest bank in the world.

Jiang Jianqing began his career with the ICBC in 1984 and was named president in February 2000. Prior to his appointment as president, Jiang held various positions for the ICBC, including as Vice President of ICBC in Shanghai and President of Shanghai Urban Cooperation Commercial Bank, now the Bank of Shanghai .

Currently, he is also the chairman of the board of directors of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited , a member of the Currency Commission of the People's Republic of China , chairman of the China Banking Association , vice chairman of the Finance and Banking Society in China, and teacher of doctoral students at Jiaotong University Shanghai . He studied in Shanghai at the University of Finance and Economics and at Jiaotong University . Jianqing received a master's degree in mechanical engineering and a doctorate in management .
