Jim Martin (puppeteer)

Jim Martin is an American puppeteer. He is best known for his appearances on Sesame Street . He won five Emmy Awards as part of the crew . It has been nominated for an Emmy several times and won it in the “Outstanding Achievement in Costume Design / Styling” category, also for Sesame Street .

Life

Martin attended St. Joseph's High School in Mount Oliver and Point Park College (now University), both in Pittsburgh , Pennsylvania.

In the 1970s, Jim Martin played a role on the show: Adventure Time .

Martin acted as one of the main puppet characters in the children's television series The Great Space Coaster (1980-1985) as Gary Gnu and was the producer of the show Johnny and the Sprites . He is also the creator of the "Anybody Pupplets".

Filmography

Martin was guest of honor at Anthrocon 2010, the world's largest furry convention, and guest of honor at Eurofurence 17 in August 2011, Europe's largest furry convention.
