Jin Jin and the Panda Patrol is an American-Chinese animated series that was produced between 1992 and 1993 .

Jin Jin is a cute little panda . With his power, the "Panda Power", he goes in search of the panda land, where there is bamboo for everyone and where there should be eternal peace. He experiences many adventures and gets to know the foolish monkey Benjie, the intelligent parrot Squawk, the funny dog Rudy and the wise turtle Professor Ying-Yang and becomes friends with them. However, Dr. Mania together with the gorilla Grimster and Hopper, a creature that is half human and half grasshopper , to unravel the secret of "PandanPower" and therefore often stand in the way of friends.

Production and publication

The series was produced by Beijing Golden Panda Animation Company, translated into English by Saban Entertainment, and first aired in 1994.

The German premiere took place on May 3, 1997 on RTL Television . More broadcasts in German-speaking countries were made on RTL II , Jetix and NRW.TV . The series was also released on DVD .
