Jixiang
Jixiang ( 吉祥 镇 , Jíxiáng Zhèn ) is a large municipality in the southwest of the People's Republic of China . It belongs to the administrative area of Pengxi County , which in turn is subordinate to the prefecture -level city of Suining in Sichuan Province . The large community has 19,100 inhabitants (2017) and is about 32 km from the center of Pengxi and 20 km from Suining.
The large community is divided into 13 administrative villages and a community of residents .
Jixiang's agricultural area is 20.1 square kilometers. Watermelons, walnuts, lemons, as well as pigs, cattle and local poultry breeds are grown. In the larger municipality there are three smaller reservoirs for water supply, 92 ponds, more than 30 lifting stations for agricultural irrigation and over 25 km of irrigation canals. Jixiang has a school, hospital and 13 doctor stations.
