Pengxi
Pengxi ( 蓬溪县 , Péngxī Xiàn ) is a district of the prefecture-level city of Suining in southwest China 's Sichuan Province .
The district extends over 55 km in an east-west direction and 63 km in a north-south direction and has an area of 1,251 km² and has approx. 678,000 inhabitants (2018). Its main town is the large community Chicheng (赤 城镇).
The Pagoda of the Jiufeng Temple (Jiufeng si ta 鹫峰 寺塔) from the Song Dynasty and the Baofan Temple (Baofan si 宝 梵 寺) have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2006 .
