João Portugal (born January 18, 1973 in Lisbon ) is a Portuguese pop singer .
Career
Portugal was initially a member of the first Portuguese boy band Excesso . After their dissolution, he released several solo albums with which he increasingly distanced himself from the image of the teenage idol. In 2008 a best-of album was released, which was commercially successful not least because of the use of the song Foste tu in the title sequence of the telenovela Flor do Mar.
