Joël Abriac

Joël Abriac is a French sound designer and sound engineer .

He has worked for Jean-Jacques Mateu , René Gouzenne and the Compagnie L'Agit , for Pierre Gosselin's puppet theater and for the dance theater companies of Heddy Maalem and Alain Abadie , among others . He is a long-time employee of the Lido - Center des Arts du Cirque in Toulouse and was involved in the production of Chouf Ouchouf for the Compagnie Zimmermann & de Perrot in 2009 .

Since 2003 he has been working regularly for Compagnie 111 from Aurélien Bory . The first joint production Plan B was followed by Taoub (2004), Plus ou moins l'infini (2005), Les sept planches de la ruse (2007), Questcequetudeviens? (2008), Sans objet (2009), Géométrie de caoutchouc (2011) and Azimut with acrobats from Tangier (2013). The Sans objet production on the subject of machines versus humans was presented at the 2013 Salzburg Festival .
