Joël Gilgen

Joël Gilgen is a Swiss radio and television presenter. From 2003 to 2009, as successor to Patricia Boser , he hosted around 300 programs on the dating show “SwissDate” on Tele Züri . Today he moderates the cooking program “cook.tv” and the reality program “Ganzprivat”. Both are programs that are broadcast on various local television channels in Switzerland. Joël Gilgen completed an apprenticeship as an advertising specialist.

Media career

He made his first experiences as a radio presenter at the age of 13 with what was then the radio conveyor belt . He conducted his first interview with Géraldine Knie . Finally, as a freelancer, he moderated at various local radio stations during his apprenticeship. He was also a reporter for various stations such as Radio DRS .

At the start of the television station TeleBärn (1995), he became the presenter of the quiz program “Seva-Game-Show”. In the following years he worked for Radio Canal 3 , TeleBielingue and for Swiss television . In 1999 Joël Gilgen came to TeleZüri (Tele24) and was first the moderator of the telecommunications and internet magazine “Update24” and the dating show “SMS - I love you”. From December 2001 to December 2003 he was the chief editor of the trend magazine “Lifestyle” and moderated the show in May 2003 during the baby break of the presenter Patricia Boser. In the end, it was used for many special programs and live broadcasts, such as the Street Parade . Today he moderates the programs “cook.tv” and “Ganzprivat”.
