Joachim Eichhorn (born July 9, 1964 ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Eichhorn played with Kickers Offenbach for two years in German professional football. In the 1983/84 season he played for the new Bundesliga team under coach Hermann Nuber , who had taken over the team from Lothar Buchmann during the season . Eichhorn played nine games. In the final table, the penultimate place in the table was occupied, so Eichhorn was relegated to the second Bundesliga with the Kickers. Here Eichhorn played 29 times and scored one goal. At the end of the season, the penultimate place in the table was back, followed by the second relegation in a row for Eichhorn.
