Joachim J. Scholz

Joachim J. Scholz (* 1942 in Neisse ) is a German specialist in German .

Scholz studied comparative literature and philosophy at the University of Chicago , where he received his doctorate in 1978 with a thesis on the romantics Novalis and Blake. Since 1980 he has been professor of German language and literature at Washington College in Chestertown. He is married to Rachel Scholz. He edited a correspondence from August Scholtis.
