Joachim Uhlmann
Joachim Uhlmann (born May 4, 1925 in Berlin ) is a German poet, painter and literary translator from English.
Life
Uhlmann's publishing activities began in 1960. His translations of American and English poetry as well as Ambrose Bierce 's “master stories ” were widely used. Uhlmann published his own poems in part with his own ink drawings or linocuts.
The author and painter worked in Berlin and was co-editor of the yearbook for poetry spokes .
