Joaquim Gusmão Martins
Joaquim José Gusmão dos Reis Martins is an East Timorese politician. He is a member of the Kmanek Haburas Unidade Nasional Timor Oan (KHUNTO) and holds an engineering degree.
On June 22, 2018 he was sworn in as Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries . He followed Estanislau da Silva .
In March 2020, Belo was elected the second Vice President of KHUNTO.
With the government reshuffle on May 29, 2020, Martins was replaced as minister by his party friend Pedro dos Reis . In return, Martins received the vacated post of State Secretary for Civil Protection SEPC on June 24th.
