Joel Untersee (born February 11, 1994 in Johannesburg , South Africa ) is a Swiss football player .

Career

In his youth, Untersee played at SC Aadorf, FC Winterthur and later at FC Zurich . In 2010 he moved to the youth department of Juventus Turin . In January 2014 he was loaned to FC Vaduz for one year and after that year it was extended for another year. He made his debut in February 2014 in the Challenge League on matchday 19 against FC Lugano , which was won 2-0.

From 2016 to 2017 Untersee was awarded to Brescia Calcio . He has been on loan at FC Empoli since 2017 .
