Johann Christoph Fugger
Johann Christoph Fugger (born December 8, 1561 in Nuremberg ; † 1612 ) was the last prominent representative of the Fugger von Reh .
This son of Wolfgang Fugger and grandson of Gastel Fugger achieved a high reputation among other things as clerk and "registrant" at the imperial court in Prague. In 1594 he also received a confirmation of nobility (knightly nobility), combined with an improvement in the coat of arms and the so-called freedom from red wax . The Fugger vom Reh were thus entitled to seal their documents with red wax, which was a special privilege granted by the emperor.
His marriage to Regina Greiner in 1603 remained childless.
