Johann Wedl

Johann Wedl (born September 28, 1928 in Trumau ; † July 15, 2009 ibid) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ) and judicial officer. Wedl was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1970 to 1987 .

Wedl attended elementary, secondary and commercial school and joined the judiciary in 1944. He was a local councilor in Trumau from 1955, took over the position of deputy mayor in 1960 and held the office of mayor from 1965 to 1987. He also represented the SPÖ from July 9, 1970 to November 30, 1987 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
