Johanna Fay (* 1980 ) is a German specialist in German .

Life

From 2000 to 2005 she studied at the University of Lüneburg , teaching at elementary, secondary and secondary schools, with a focus on elementary school (1st state examination ). From 2005 to 2008 she completed a doctoral degree in the field of education, subject German / linguistics and language didactics, supported by a doctoral scholarship in Lüneburg . In 2007 she was a teacher for special tasks at the TU Braunschweig , Institute for German Studies, Department Didactics of German Language and Literature. From 2008 to 2009 she was a research assistant at the University of Hanover , German Department, Department of German and Applied Linguistics. From 2006 to 2009 she held various teaching positions at the universities of Hamburg and Lüneburg. From 2009 to 2015 he taught as a junior professor for German language and language didactics at the PH Karlsruhe , Institute for German Language and Literature and its Didactics. Since 2015 she has been Professor of German Linguistics at the University of Flensburg .

Her main research interests are orthography and spelling didactics, diagnostics in writing and reading, written language acquisition, concepts of the first class and prosodic skills in reading.
