Johanna Müller (born January 9, 1990 ) is a German judoka who competes in the weight class up to 57 kg.

Müller began judo at the age of six . The greatest success in her career was the German championship in 2012. In 2013 and 2015 she was able to take second place in the German championships. Internationally, Müller was able to win three European Cups: Prague 2012, Borås 2012 and Málaga 2014. She also took first place at the World Cup (European Open) 2012 in Tallinn.

In 2015, Müller's hopes for a medal were initially not fulfilled. At the World Cup in Prague she was able to win three fights early, but in the semifinals she was defeated by Bulgarian Ivelina Ilieva and thus only reached fifth place. At the Grand Prix in Samsun, too, Müller only narrowly missed a medal when she was unable to catch up with a small ranking in the battle for third place. Bronze came at the Grand Prix in Zagreb, however, when Müller beat Corina Caprioriu from Romania, silver medalist at the London Olympics, with a Yuko rating in the "small final". At the European Judo Open in Minsk there was not much lacking for the gold medal, Müller only had to admit defeat in the final.

Since 2010 Johanna Müller has been a member of the national league team of the judo sports club Speyer 1959 eV.

Müller studied at the German Sports University in Cologne , the specialist sports and health in prevention and therapy .
