The Johannes Lodge at the rebuilt Temple is a Freemason's lodge located in Ludwigsburg . The Logenhaus is located at Asperger Straße 37 .

history

Lodge establishment

The lodge was founded on July 1, 1855 in Bayreuth under the grand lodge Zur Sonne . In 1887 work began on the lodge house, the masonry and stone carving work was carried out by members of the lodge. The lodge house was ceremoniously inaugurated in 1888, and the lodge has been there since then, with the exception of the period from 1933 to 1946. In 2005 the lodge celebrated its 150th anniversary celebration.

On April 20, 1933, the lodge was forcibly dissolved. In 1935 the Logenhaus became the property of the city of Ludwigsburg, and the SA moved into the "House of Humanity" until 1945.
