The Johanniter GmbH is a supporting organization for more than 100 inpatient health and care facilities, including hospitals, specialist and rehabilitation clinics, medical care and therapy centers, clinics, elderly homes, hospices and central service companies. Around 15,000 employees work in the stationary Johanniter network. Johanniter GmbH follows the tradition of the approximately 900-year-old, evangelically oriented Order of St. John. The Order of St. John sees the care of the needy and the healing of the sick as its special task. The focus of all efforts in the Johanniter facilities is the holistic care of sick people and people in need of care based on the Christian image of man.
