John Baptist Li Suguang
John Baptist Li Suguang ( Chinese 李 穌 光 ; * 1964 ) is the Catholic Bishop of Nanchang .
Life
Li Suguang studied at the Episcopal Priesthood Seminary in Beijing and was ordained a priest in 1992. He then worked as a pastor in Shanxi, then in Inner Mongolia and then in Nanchang. There he was finally appointed vicar general and in 2009 unanimously appointed diocesan candidate. It was consecrated on October 31, 2010 with the consent of the Pope and the consent of the Chinese government.
