John Bartlet
John Bartlet , also John Bartlett, (active between 1606 and 1610) was an English composer of the 16th and 17th centuries.
Bartlett composed polyphonic vocal and instrumental music. He published, among others, The Whole Booke of Psalms (1599) and A Booke of Ayres with a triplicite of musicke,… (1606). His lute songs (such as the two-stanza song When from my love from Book of Ayres ) and other pieces for lute are reminiscent of the music of Robert Jones .
