John Chu
John Chu ( Chinese 朱中宜 ) is an American microprocessor architect, science fiction writer and translator.
life and work
Chu started learning English when she was six. As a child he was an voracious reader. The works of Ted Chiang inspired him to write science fiction. In 2010 he attended the Clarion Science Fiction Writers' Workshop .
In 2014, Chu's short story The Water That Falls on You from Nowhere won the Hugo Award for Best Short Story. Chu reads for podcasts and translates novels and short stories from Chinese into English.
