John F. Warren

John F. Warren (born May 1, 1909 in New York City , † August 8, 2000 in Camarillo , California ) was an American cameraman.

Life

Warren began his work in the film business as a camera assistant and simple cameraman from 1939. In 1954 he was nominated for an Oscar in the category Best Cinematography for his work on the film A Country Girl - his first production as chief cameraman .

From the end of the 1950s Warren mainly worked for television, from 1966 his focus shifted back to cinema productions. In 1972 his last production followed, in which he was involved.
