Eduard Drumm

Eduard Drumm (born January 28, 1862 in Mulhouse , † April 22, 1924 ) was a merchant and member of the second chamber of the Landtag of the Reichsland Alsace-Lorraine for the Alsatian Progressive Party .

Eduard Drumm, who was a Protestant denomination, attended the Mülhausen high school and worked as a businessman. He belonged to the Mülhausen municipal council and later to the hospital council. He was chairman of the association syndicate of Mulhouse and environs.

In the first (and only) election to the state parliament, he ran as a liberal candidate in the Mulhouse III constituency. In the first ballot, 4,660 votes were cast in the constituency out of 5,827 eligible voters. Drumm received 2,241 votes, the Social Democrat Staudt 1,678 and the candidate for the Kuenz Center 702 votes. In the second ballot, Drumm was the only candidate and was elected with 3,277 (out of 3,518 cast) votes. Eduard Drumm was a member of the state parliament until 1918.
