John J. Kavelaars

John J. Kavelaars (* 1966 ) is a Canadian astronomer .

Kavelaars was involved in the discovery of several moons on the planets Jupiter , Saturn , Uranus , and Neptune .

He currently works at the Herzberg Institute for Astrophysics in Victoria , British Columbia .

In 2007 the asteroid (154660) Kavelaars was named after him.
