John Kelly of Killanne
John Kelly of Killanne († July 21, 1798 ) played a significant role in the Irish Rebellion of 1798 . He was one of the leaders who took the town of Wexford through the Battle of Three Rocks . He was seriously injured at the Battle of New Ross and then moved to Wexford. On July 21, 1798, he was killed by British forces.
