John Santucci
John Santucci , actually John Louis Schiavone (born November 8, 1940 - February 22, 2004 ) was an American film actor.
He played u. a. in the television series Miami Vice and Fighting the Mafia . He had his most famous role in the series Crime Story . There he played the Mafioso Pauli Taglia on the side of Dennis Farina , Anthony Denison and Stephen Lang .
Prior to his film career, Schiavone was a burglar; precisely for this reason he was brought to the set for Thief (engl .: the loner ) by Michael Mann as a consultant ; in the film he played a cop. Towards the end of his career, he relapsed, reported several times and finally pleaded guilty to court in 1994.
