John Shaw (soccer player, 1954)

John Shaw (born February 4, 1954 in Stirling , United Kingdom ) is a former Scottish football player who played on the position of goalkeeper. He played in more than 400 Football League games and played for Bristol City , Exeter City and Gloucester City . Shaw began his youth career at Leeds United , where he received his first professional contract in 1971, but only played in UEFA Cup games until moving to Bristol City in 1974.
