John Strutt, 6th Baron Rayleigh
John Gerald Strutt, 6th Baron Rayleigh of Terling Place (born June 4, 1960 ) is a British peer and politician.
Life
He was born the son of Charles Richard Strutt (* 1910; † 1981) and Jean Elizabeth Davidson (* 1924).
At the death of his uncle John Strutt, 5th Baron Rayleigh , on April 21, 1988, he inherited his title of nobility. With this was connected a hereditary seat in the House of Lords . On November 11, 1999, he lost his hereditary parliamentary seat through the House of Lords Act 1999 .

He has been married to Annabel Kate Patterson since May 2, 1991 and has one son, John Frederick Strutt (* 1993). He has two sisters, Anne Caroline Strutt (* 1955) and Mary Jean Strutt (* 1957).
