Joint Operations Graphic

The Joint Operations Graphic (JOG) is a military map series .

The entire land area of the earth is covered with the exception of the Antarctic continent . The maps are created by the responsible military geographic offices of the NATO member countries on a scale of 1: 250,000 according to the United States Military Standard MIL-J-89100.

The maps are provided with the UTM coordinate system and are issued in two versions:

  • Series 1501 (Ground): for ground-based operations
  • Series 1501A (Air): with additional aeronautical information.
