Jon Lane is a former British figure skater who started out in ice dancing .

His ice dance partner was Janet Sawbridge . At her side he won the bronze medal at the 1968 World Championships behind fellow countrymen Diane Towler and Bernard Ford, as well as Yvonne Suddick and Malcolm Cannon . At European Championships Lane and Sawbridge won the bronze medal in 1968 and the silver medal in 1969 .
