Janet Sawbridge is a former British figure skater who started out in ice dancing .

Her first ice dance partner was David Hickinbottom . Together with him she took part in World and European Championships from 1963 to 1965 . At European Championships Sawbridge and Hickinbottom won the bronze medal in 1963 and the silver medal in 1964 and 1965 . At world championships they won bronze in 1964 and silver in 1965 behind Eva Romanová and Pavel Roman from Czechoslovakia .

With her second ice dance partner Jon Lane , she won the bronze medal at the 1968 World Championships behind her compatriots Diane Towler and Bernard Ford as well as Yvonne Suddick and Malcolm Cannon . At the European Championships, the ice dancing couple won the bronze medal in 1968 and the silver medal in 1969 .

With her third ice dance partner Peter Dalby , she won bronze at the 1972 European Championships .
