Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows , DRUGS for short , was an American post-hardcore band from Pontiac .
history
The band was the follow-up project of singer Craig Owens after leaving Chiodos . In 2010, he teamed up with other members of well-known bands who had partially broken up or taken time off to form Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows: Nick Martin of Underminded, Matt Good of From First to Last , Adam Russell of Story of the Year and Aaron Star from Matchbook Romance . Their debut album, titled after the abbreviation of the band name DRUGS , was released by the Americans in February 2011. It immediately reached number 1 on the hard rock charts.
In April 2012, Chiodos posted a video stating that Craig Owens had rejoined the band. The following day, Matt Good, Nick Martin and Aaron Stern announced that they were leaving the band. It was also announced that Good, Martin and Stern are working on a new album, but not under the name DRUGS, as this is now Craig's project. Craig continued to act as the vocalist for Chiodos and there was no further sign of life from Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows.
