Jonas Valentin (French: Broussaille ) is a comic series by the Belgian Frank Pé .

Jonas Valentin is a young, curly-haired student from Brussels. He makes fantastic and poetic discoveries in his everyday life and while traveling. In this way he meets legendary animals, strange phenomena and lovingly eccentric people.

publication

From 1978 onwards, Frank Pé published humorous animal and nature observations from one page each in the comic magazine Spirou with the character under the name Le papier de Broussaille . In 1987 the first album-long story was published by the Dupuis publishing house together with the copywriter Michel de Bom , who was followed by three more. Pé wrote the last volume himself. In 2016/2017 two anthologies were published by Dupuis.

In Germany, the albums were published by Carlsen Verlag from 1987 .
