Jonathan Barboza , full name Jonathan Daniel Barboza Bonilla , (born November 2, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.80 meter tall midfielder Barboza was loaned to Club Atlético Rentistas by Liverpool Montevideo within Montevideo in early September 2010 . For the 2011/12 season he returned to the Liverpool Fútbol Club and played 24 first division games in that season, in which he scored two goals. In 2012/13 he played 21 times (one goal) in the Primera División with the Montevideans and played in five matches (no goal) of the Copa Sudamericana 2012 . The 2013/14 season, which ended for his club with relegation to the Segunda División , he used to increase his statistics by 23 more games and two goals in the Primera División. On August 8, 2014 he moved to the Swiss second division club FC Lugano on loan . In the 2014/15 season he was used there four times (no goal) in the Challenge League . In early January 2015, he initially returned to the Liverpool Fútbol Club. In February 2015 it was awarded again. Since then, his employer has been the first division club Sud América , for whom he played six times (no goal) in the Primera División in the 2015 Clausura. In the 2015/16 season he played 29 times (no goal) in the league. After completing 14 more league games (one goal) in the 2016 season, he was signed by Club Atlético Cerro in mid-January 2017 .
