The Jones Ice Shelf was a small Antarctic ice shelf that filled the Jones Channel between the Arrowsmith Peninsula and Blaiklock Island until 2003 . It had an area of almost 30 km², was between 150 m and 250 m thick and was primarily fed by the Heim glacier . After a period of relative stability, it began to withdraw from 1970 and completely disbanded in 2003.
