Jorge Pérez Tedesco

Jorge Pérez Tedesco was an Argentine cellist.

Pérez Tedesco studied guitar and cello at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory with Abelardo Veiga and Leo Viola . After graduating with a gold medal in cello, he completed his training with Boris Pergamenschtschikow , Eduardo Valenzuela , Antonio Lysy and Menahem Pressler (chamber music). He was honored at the Concurso Nacional de Interpretación Musical of the Argentine Ministry of Culture and, as a member of the Cuarteto Argentino, received an honorary diploma for chamber music from the Fundación Konex .

As a chamber musician, he is a member of the Los violonchelistas de Buenos Aires , the Quinteto CEAMC and the Solistas de Música Contemporánea . He was a founding member of the Trio Argentina and performs in a duo with the pianist Beatriz Pedrini . He has also worked as a soloist with various symphony orchestras and is the principal cellist of the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional .
