Jornada del Sol

Jornada del Sol are the two musicians Pet-C West and Pete South. Under this name they released the album "License to chill" in 2002, which received a lot of attention in the " Chill-out " genre due to good reviews . It found its fans especially in Ibiza and so the album was played in the beach bars at sunset.

In the summer of 2005 the course was then set for the new album "SeaSun Club", which is due to be released in spring 2007 and which goes much more in the direction of club music, among other things. a. with the unique Bossa Nova mix from “Rio Summer Night”. The track “Rio Summer Night”, which had been waiting for its realization for some time, was produced very quickly with 18-year-old Marashiva thanks to its use in an advertising campaign and was released on June 9, 2006. The maxi CD contains seven mixes of the Piece and has a playing time of over 30 minutes. For the "Year of the Dolphin", Jornada del Sol will support the project with proceeds from the sale of the title "Dolphins of Bali 2007". Pet-C West lives in the south-west of the republic and has been working successfully as a composer, lyricist, studio musician (guitarist, keyboardist, programmer) and lecturer for more than 30 years. Numerous publications accompany his musical career.

Pete South lives in the south of Cologne and Ibiza. Marashiva lives in Cologne. Marashiva received support for singing at an early age. At the age of 13 she made her first appearance in front of an international audience in Milan. In the years that followed, the love for soul, jazz, gospel and funk from the 1970s developed.
